Stay on Track

Entering into a new year, many are anxious to start a new diet, a new daily regimen, or a have a series of goals that are planning to accomplish this year. Setting out to make changes and improvements can be a wonderful experience and commitment however for many people, somewhere along the way we get off track. We can become too busy to stick to the schedule required of our new found goals, we can forget the motivation that served as the catalyst for the change, or heck sometimes we just get down right lazy and resort back to the comfort of our old ways.

I want to encourage every person that reads this post that no matter what your new found ambition is for 2012, or your life, to STAY ON TRACK! As difficult and trying as it may become. The thought to make a change did not magically appear in your head. You likely arrived at this decision as a result of long throttled path that has come to a hault and your either want or are required to make a change.

I can attest that in my own personal life, I am striving...correction I am riding along with the Lord as my life shifts into modifications that are for my overall benefit. Do not be fearful, reluctant or shamed. Hold on and stay encouraged and know that there is no move too big for the Lord to carry you through.

  1. Very encouraging friend! I know on of my "get back on tracks" is the all-time favorite "to lose some extra/holiday/homemade red velvet cupcake weight" lol Oh how easy it is to be all amped up in the beginning of the year, then slack off 2 months, 1, or even a few days after starting. Especially if your not use to it. So I Agee, don't get discouraged! Keep on pushing & maybe put up a pic of the way you aspire to look again. Remember it's not just about size either, but we want to be healthier so we're around longer :)
